I love baseball but when professional sports start trying to make political points they lose me. Just do what you are supposed to do. MLB is supposed to play a game. So play the game and don't get into politics. The country is pretty much 50/50 for the most part and you are going to alienate a large swath of your loyal fans by playing politics. I have plenty of other things to spend my time and money on other professional sports, so that is where I will be. MLB can kiss my caboose.

I wouldn’t freak out. Impasses in negotiations are just part of the game, especially when egos are involved. But it’s in everyone’s best interest now to get things worked out, so they probably will.

Amazing that some “fans” are so quick to blame the administration. What if TV demands are unreasonable and DW is trying to find the middle ground that benefits both parties. There are always 2 or more parties in a negotiation and to immediately blame one party is very shortsighted but par for certain “fans”.
