You guys are acting as if this will be a quick thing, it will take at least a year to finalize things and they won’t actually join the conference until 2025, that is when the current rotation of cross division games expires and they’ll make new ones, so it’ll only make since for it to be then when the SEC officially adds them.

If the SEC could get Oklahoma and Texas straight up they would add them tomorrow, schedules be damned.

Welp...struck out. As did the rest of the family. Was just trying to get them for our mom and whole fam went 0-fer. I already hate this Masters ticket lotto thing.
The lotto thing is the best chance most of us have at getting Masters tickets, unless you are very good friends with a member.

Would it though? The schools that benefit most from the move is Texas and Oklahoma and the move would cripple A&M.
And what happens to the big 12? Becomes a pointless conference.

Seriously, what's the point of having half of the best all time programs in 1 conference?

In fact, I say we don't just reject the proposal, but also send Mizzou and TAMU back with it. This is the South EASTERN Conference...eff this.

How many times does Texas want us to save them?

I'd be surprised if we get Bama off our schedule anytime soon. Nothing to do with the history or the grand tradition of TSIO. Bama likes playing Tennessee. I doubt they care what Saturday it's played. Someday, it will be a game again. But now, Bama just likes having an easy SECE draw they consider an auto-win.
They like the easy win

I’m a geographic purist myself, drives me nuts seeing Pitt play FSU as ACC opponents, much less having A&M and Mizzou in the SEC, but we are so far through the looking glass with all these new changes, we aren’t going to recognize the sport in five years.

People act like we’re just terrible and done. TN should have won 9 games in the regular season in 2019. Had we don’t that, recruiting would have went through the roof. There are several guys who were coming here and then we lost to BYU and GSU. That was 2 years ago. We are still better than everyone on our schedule except the big 3. And we have gained since then because we lost JG and Pruitt’s high school offense. Why are we so down? If we could do that in 2019 with Pruitt and JG, we can do it in 2021 with Heup and his offense. If we can win 9 games, then we’re on our way. Recruiting will pick up. And all of those offensive guys would be coming back next year except Velus. Excitement would be through the roof.

Preach!!

Optimistic Bass is back! Love to see it!

I haven't had them personally, but my mom has had them. She's trying everything she knows to do to keep from having the knee replacement surgery. They have worked pretty well for her, so far. She still has occasional pain, usually when she's been way overactive and on her feet more than she usually is. When she does have the pain, she ices her knee, and takes a couple of Aleve on top of that. Hope this helps, even if it's second hand opinion!
