Idk how many of you watched this when you were a kid, or had kids that watched it but I’ve been rewatching batman beyond.. and holy **** it’s crazy they marketed this to kids. Almost nothing in this show would fly today.

A lot of people think The Flinstones is a kids cartoon too. . . it was like the Family Guy of the time.

Batman beyond had a scene where some guy was asking his girlfriend “the mall is boring, how bout a ride?” And the girl says he’s too obsessed with his car, and he says “who said anything about cars?”

And I was like wow TV-Y7 huh?

Not to mention the death and guns. I haven’t seen a kids show with guns in years and years. Actually, Batman beyond might be the last.

I taught my kids a long time ago that people don’t kill people. Cartoon guns do. Then I showed them the tragic life it leads to with Elmer Fudd cartoons.
