If I can Connect the dots on these issues, then I know the coaches have seen them long ago. Thankfully, Heupel and Halzle are incredible QB coaches. If they can help him correct, or limit, these mistakes, I think he will start and be successful.

These coaches had a relationship with Milton in Orlando. They recruited him to UCF. Im filly confident that when people say this transfer was in works for a while, that they wanted him here for a reason.

Let's recap. Milton lost the starting job on a UM 2-4 football team in a COVID year. HB took over the starting job of a 3-7 football team in a COVID year. Both teams sucked. HB competed with two roster QB's during spring practice and clearly separated himself as the better QB. But it was only spring practice. Milton then transferred in as a preferred QB since the staff was high on him at their previous employer, which is a good, non-SEC G-5 program.

Clear as mud to me. Which tells me it is probably an open competition that one of Milton or HB will likely win and that we are likely to see the other if the chosen one falters if Heup is the HC I think he is. Even Drink, who had not been a HC before, knew to do that at Mizzou last season and he did it quickly. It is this last point, like Rish, that I want to see our HC do at every position. I don't want him to fall in love with any individual player and play that person regardless of performance or upside. No pets. I want him to work through the roster every game and find the guys that do things right and well. That's how the players become a family instead of just talking about it. They have to play their hearts out, support one another, and push one another for the good of the team. If they walk on campus talking about going to the NFL one day they get the stink eye from me. Prove it up first.

We have not had a HC do it that way since Kiffin. Before him, Phil lost his job because he stopped doing it with players and coaches.

If CJH can field a passable QB and an offense that scores points, there is no reason we shouldn’t beat UK. They only scored more than 30 points 4 times last season, and once was against us when we handed them 4 TDs. In 2019, UK only scored more than 30 points 4 times, and only once was it against a SEC team (Vandy).

I think it is John Madden simple. If we score points, we will beat them, because they don’t score many points.

JG gifted that game to UK by himself. One of the worst performances ive ever seen. Just glad hes gone. That alone is gonna do wonders for us.
