Henry T will probably improve greatly at Bama. He suffered from bad coaching and schemes under Cornbread. Bituli was as much responsible for Henry's success as a freshman as anybody in the program. He got him in the right spots and let him know what to expect. Bituli gone + Cornbread = Incompetence with Henry last season.

But I don't care. He's not a Vol. I care about Vols.

Staff isn't high on Bailey. Think it's Milton's job to lose.
I'm pulling for Bailey, especially since a lot of us hoped he was the second coming of PM, but judging from the practice videos, he looks like a fish out of water compared to 5 and 7.. Hooker and Milton look smooth with most everything they do... but obviously we're seeing a 2 minute clip.. he may end up being QB1 at the end of the day

henry T may not improve one single bit but his “issues” In pass coverage will be minimized greatly with his surrounding cast. He’s a damn good player where a lack of pass rush made him look less than elite last season

Bailey may have to redshirt, learn the offense more and wait his turn
I was pretty excited when we got him but maybe he was a little more hyped then what we think

We have talent at the skill positions but the big questions are at LB and the OL and DL plus the depth at those spots.

Just seems like Bailey just isnt there yet physically. He needs to get bigger and more physical. Being a big tank of a QB is pretty much essential in the SEC.
Wasn't he lightening up at one point to increase mobility?

Not sure if adding 10 lbs or what not is going to change what he's lacking. He's either going to become more accurate and consistent, speed up his play, etc over time or not. Jmo but a year under Hype could do him wonders.

SCHEME, that will make a fair QB look good and a good QB look great. EVERY great QB had a scheme that fit their skill set. Strong arm, average arm, running ability, it all counts. You can take Peyton or Brady and they couldn't run the same offense as Patrick Mahomes........skill set. I think what JH is doing is finding the QB with the skills to run his offense and not build his offense around what he inherited.

Swain was at practice on Saturday and he made it sound like the QB order was 1. Milton 2. Hooker 3. Bailey.
VQ guys said Hooker and Milton were becoming the clear 1 and 2, with Hooker maybe looking slightly better.

We will know for sure soon. 2 scrimmages in 8 days and they won't be able to hide the depth chart for that.

I may be wrong but I really think that from all indications at this point in time we have a Football Coach that gets it. You create and environment that players want to be a part of and the wins will come and the best players will want to be a part of.

This exact post has been posted about Lane, DD, Butch, bama Jeremey and now

no offense but the “culture is changing” Bs is old and stale
