I lived on Middlebrook for most of my elementary school years. I thought it was a pretty good school.

Gotta just say….are you f***ing kidding me? How do we lose these guys to bumass, loserass, lameass Kentucky? And they’re from Spring Hill (SHS), where I used to work? There isn’t a Kentucky fan within a 50 mile radius of there.

And you want to go to UK (which is a joke in itself)…..as a 4 star…..to play football?!!! What?!!! If you ever think UT doesn’t properly utilize players or positions, these idiots use their WR’s as QB’s!

When I was in the fourth grade, some little punk and his friend decided they wanted to fight me in the bathroom. One shoved me. I shoved back, he stumbled and fell into his friend, who, in turn, fell like a tree. The teacher then came in and I was standing over both of them. Word around Pond Gap Elementary was that I whipped two dudes asses at the same time. It was glorious.

My wife went to Pond Gap; when were you there?

I’d be remiss if I didn’t take the time to appreciate the late great Bobby Bowden. You see, I met this really cute girl working at a kamp (sic) in Branson just after my last year of college. The only issue is that I lived in TN and she lived in Florida. 2 weeks later I was driving down to Tallahassee to see her…
Now Tallatrashy is an odd town to say the least and I was coming south through Thomasville. On my way through Killearn I pulled up to a stoplight with my windows down looking at mapquest printed out or something similar. Then I heard an older man next to me “where are ya headed son?” FSU sir, a place called the Polk house. He chuckled: “follow me and I’ll get ya there”. Turns out I was right by his house which I drove by 100 times 3 years later when the girl and I were married and had moved back so she could finish school.
FSU used to have a decent golf course that was free to students. I played a lot of golf somehow with 3 Jobs and going to school for my second degree. Bobby would come out and play a couple holes with groups and then move along to the next group- he was a dang politician! This was 2006. I played with him several times and we’d talk UT football and he’d always comment how much he respected UT and coach Fulmer.
I’ll always be a UT fan, but Bobby will always be special to our family.

My takeaways from the VQ chat:

-VQ Staff expects 6-6.
-Tiyon Evans is gonna be good.
-Byron Young is gonna be a beast.
-Our staff is overall a big upgrade from previous (shocker \blue font).
-We’re gonna be tossing the ball all around the yard (6-7 WR getting playing time).
-Looks like our pass rush is gonna be better than expected with Byron Young and Tyler Baron.

You really gotta sift through the BS in that chat lol. And I expect 7-5, not 6-6, personally. I think there are some teams in the East (UK, Mizzou…cough, cough) getting way too much hype. And are we really that much worse than 2019? Nah. Maybe depth isn’t as good but that sure helped us against BYU and Georgia freaking State.

I think Trey Smith potentially has that Reggie White charisma. He's one of those players that you look forward to representing Tennessee.

Staff would never try to set expectations as high as they think is possible.
