How far is this throw at 15 seconds dropped right in the basket?
You can time it out at 2.2 seconds of hang time after you remove the video slow down. The ball starts "flying" at about 7 feet off the ground. Launch angle is around 35 degrees. Makes that throw about 35-40 yards minus wind/rain resistance.
It's a nice accurate throw. He didn't break any laws of physics though.
Bob_VolsMilton will be the guy. Run game was solid. Wright was mentioned a lot. WRs made some good plays despite the weather. OL struggled some. DL had another solid day. A lot of raving about Byron Young. LB play left a lot to be desired. DBs were hit and miss today. They made some plays but gave up some big plays too. McDonald had his best day. Finding an every down TE is a concern.
Then I assume he will do his 4-5yrs the college route. Some guys go to the Olympic Development Center in Colorado Springs right out of high school. Nick Boykin from Riverdale High did that for a couple years and is now at Ohio State. He was at Wisconsin last year for his freshman year. Not sure how that all works with the route he’s going?
Just listened to the bkeavs podcast where they just watched an entire practice. Highlights:
A. Take what the general media says with a grain of salt because they barely see anything.
B. Garner is TOUGH on the DL. They were doing gassers and up downs long after all other position groups left.
Which made me remember the Emerson tweet where he was complaining about how much he disliked his coach (loosely paraphrased) and how he and a guy who has never been fully bought in in Middleton left.
C. They complained about the size of some guys. Said they were shocked with how small D. terry was based on the hype. Said all our linebackers are small. Still look like a high school team at linebacker. Said Morven Joseph looks like a tweener/safety.
D. Raves about the secondary. Said Turnage and a Hadden are just different level athletes. Said chemistry and camaraderie was great. A lot of coaching up between the players between plays.
Edit: also called out Tyumen Fields as a guy making plays both times they’ve been to practice. R-So this year so they still think he has a nice career here all said and done.
Overall they felt a lot better about the defense than they did in the spring but as we all know we’re still not where we need to be.

It was said on the VQ podcast this morning that Whitehead was the 4th RB. Beckwith is still learning the position.Move Beckwith to TE already so we can exploit some mismatches.
Wright looked awesome in that highlight, so I’m guessing Beckwith is at best fourth on the depth chart. Much easier road to playing time at TE.
