Oh I bet.. I hope mine was a one time thing. I haven’t drank in two years and that’s a big reason why.
That's good.
I just avoid alcohol, smoking, food with any flavor whatsoever, sudden movements, exertion, reality TV, etc..
Ok,the last one might be my choice but you get the idea.

I think Florida is going to take a big step back on offense, but they will also take a step forward on defense. They have some dudes on that DL.

We have some depth on the DL, but we don't have a dude there like Gervon Dexter. We need to land Walter Nolan. Gotta have dudes like that on the DL to really make an impact.

But if our offense makes the jump we expect it to, and Milton reaches that potential, we can play with anyone and will beat the majority

Dexter is a breakout candidate but far from proven. Florida's defense should be alright but they have some gaps as well. Elam will shut down half the secondary probably.

I think it'd be great for recruiting. 2012 Florida game looked like Mardi Gras.

hell yes it did. I was there towards the middle to back of the south endzone and couldnt hear a thing it was amazing. Well until the 2nd half. When Big dan or somebody ate up driskel on the first series that place felt like the 90s-early 2000s again. We had gameday there. i remember seeing recruits like Derrick Henry out there near the set. That place was next level electric that day until the 3rd qtr started.

Are there any surgery options remaining?

There's still one but I'm not there. As long as I can keep it relatively under control, don't want to start poking around in there again.
Some were a help, others just caused unnecessary misery.
I'm a UT fan, not adding any more unnecessary misery.

When we go what should be a predictable 6-6 because we have a new coach/system that takes time to get in sync, an athletically gifted but inexperienced young QB, a mediocre (and at times tired) defense and a thin roster in key areas (OT), we’re going to have some really disappointed posters….

Time will tell

Why do feel that you need to post this? It’s like you would rather us go 6-6 so you can pound your chest and say “I told you so” than for us to go 8-4. I just don’t understand why people want to be killjoys.
To be honest I would Not be disappointed with 6-6, but you do you.

Thanks for asking and good timing.

Received update from the MRI yesterday, was waiting for my brother to share it publicly. Praise the Lord there is finally tangible evidence of shrinkage and parts of the disease that are not there anymore. This is FANTASTIC news. There seems to be a path out of the woods. Pray for his doctor’s wisdom who has developed a pretty unique pharmacological regimen. He’s really on quite the cocktail of stuff. As many of you unfortunately know cancer battles ar often one shuffle forward and a full leap back. But count this a dub for the young man. Without a doubt the best news he’s had in a year. My man Drew just out here meeting cancer across the middle. Boom💥

Thanks, everyone!
Prayer..........when done humbly, honestly and sincerely works! Praise the lord!

When Florida faked that punt and we shut that right down I thought for sure we were going to win. I thought we were about to be back.

And here we are 9 years and three coaches later.

SINGIN' IN THE RAIN
Tennessee's move to morning practices meant the Vols have largely avoided practice in the August heat (something to remember with two noon games and a trip to Gainesville on tap in September), but credit Heupel for testing players by having them scrimmage in the rain on Tuesday when it would have been easy to shift things inside. You wouldn't blame a coach for going conservative two weeks out from the start of the season. But Heupel let the elements give the Vols a little adversity and prepare them in case they see it again this fall.

The good news is Tennessee seemed to handle the weather well by all accounts and the better news is we heard from two different places that there were no major injuries, which is a positive given the weather conditions. (Tennessee is playing it safe with a couple guys, including wide receiver Velus Jones Jr., who is dealing with a hamstring injury.) The Vols threw and caught the wet footballs well and there weren't many issues with fumbles. The kicking game struggled early on with the rain before adjusting and generating better results.

It wasn't just a light rain, either, and it picked up enough later in the morning that Tennessee finished a little earlier than initially scheduled, but overall Heupel was happy with the wet-weather work.

OFFENSE BOUNCES BACK
The rain has to be taken into consideration in evaluating the scrimmage, but from multiple accounts this session was much more even than last week's scrimmage, which the defense controlled for a while before fading in some situational work late. The defense again started well with the first- and second-team units generating some early stops, but the offense rebounded and overall had a much better day than last week. With the weather limiting big-play opportunities through the air, the Vols were able to sustain some drives and ran the football better compared to the first scrimmage.

Tennessee's offensive line was challenged by Glen Elarbee after a rough outing last week and responded well with a solid day in terms of moving the line of scrimmage in the run game and protecting the quarterbacks. The defensive line still made some plays and disrupted some things, especially early. But the offensive line was more physical and avoided the kind of mistakes that hurt them last week, and the same goes for the offense as a whole.

Two names we've heard a lot in camp that came up again on Tuesday were running back Tiyon Evans and outside linebacker Byron Young, and both junior college transfers should be important playmakers on either side of the football right off the bat for the Vols.

DEPTH SHOWING UP ON DEFENSE?
Perhaps the biggest note from Heupel after the scrimmage was the confidence he expressed in Tennessee's improved depth. Now, it's still a question mark at several positions for these Vols and the potential quality depth is entirely unproven. But it's not hard to look at this defense and see how the situation at each level is improved compared to the spring.

Two transfers have joined the defensive line, a healthy Roman Harrison has boosted the options off the edge, the linebacker situation is night and day different and the cornerback situation is improved thanks to transfers Brandon Turnage and Kamal Hadden and freshman De'Shawn Rucker.

At linebacker, Tennessee went from barely having enough available players to practice to Heupel on Tuesday saying “there's a lot of guys that can play and play at a really high level.” Juwan Mitchell has fit in well after transferring in, Kwauze Garland is pushing for a starting spot, Jeremy Banks is back on the field and Aaron Beasley has shown he can be counted on. With the depth bolstered at linebacker and in the secondary, Tennessee's defense might have better depth than several spots on offense that have become thin, namely tight end and the offensive line.

There's still a lot of unknown about this defense and how it will hold up this season and whether the Vols can find some game-changing type players, but there have been encouraging signs at all three levels. Some of it showed up in Tuesday's scrimmage with some early stops. The lack of turnovers from the secondary is a bit of a concern, but the defensive line and linebackers together have showed some disruptive tendencies both in the scrimmage and in camp as a whole.

ABOUT THAT (LACK OF) SEPARATION AT QB
Asked about the state of the quarterback competition coming out of the second scrimmage, Heupel said there's not been any separation between Joe Milton III, Hendon Hooker and Harrison Bailey ... but there's been separation. Milton has moved to the top of the pecking order over the last week or so and was first up with the first-team offense on Tuesday. The Michigan transfer didn't do anything to change his status in the scrimmage, and if anything he might have further asserted himself by having a better day than the other two despite the elements.

At this point, though Milton hasn't officially won the job, it kind of feels like he's won it based on what we have been hearing going into Tuesday and after the scrimmage.
-Brown

I hope Milton is the truth and a superstar, but let’s not put so much on the young man and get disappointed if he isn’t a superstar. A good QB can get us to eight wins. Superstar QB, who really knows, but I would love it.

But his measurements equal Cam Newton therefore Heisman.
