I hate health insurance! They want you to pay the gigantic premiums, and then when you need them, there’s hoops and red tape to jump through to get what’s rightfully yours.

My family’s policy is almost $1500 a month but I’m self employed so I don’t get it through a company

That’s why they require certain verbiage on billing forms submitted from healthcare professionals to get the max payment from the insurance companies. You can make a small mistake in the coding of procedures or diagnosis and can cost $$ for them.

In Kinesiology, I was that little smart guy that keeps screwing up the curve. After 2 exams, I went to the professor and asked that he remove me from the curve calculations. ( I was an undergrad teaching assistant in Human Anatomy, so I already knew all the Kinesiology stuff) Not bragging, I volunteered to be an undergrad TA because it was required for all Nursing and Therapy majors. Sneaky smart, but bashful as all get out…

Check with your business bank…lots of banks have insurance co-ops that you can join to get better policy at a better price point too.

My group does that. Insurance companies gouge medical practices. We’re kinda hidden in the big banking group

Dang! I bought @bignewt's book The Alternator. I thought it was instructional about how to change my Alternator on my old pickup truck. If you need help changing your Alternator I don't recommend it.
