From the way Media puts it it seems to be his own fault and lack of consistency and physicality. The way Ben McKee put it if their complaint is he needs to be more physical at RB then why would you expect it to be better at TE? I’m pulling for him as he looks like a potential baller but there must be something when two staffs have you down the chart a bit

"IF"..that is true, then he just doesn't have the desire he needs to succeed, cause lord knows he has the physical ability...he has no "dawg" in him.

Has anyone here ever witnessed a player suddenly flip that switch? It seems to be a quality you either have or you don't to me. It seems that is always the reason we have so many high ranked busts...guys that come in and won't do what it takes to excel.

it's a great position to be in....zero expectations from anyone for UT so nothing to lose and everything to gain....when they are knocking off everyone one by one, all of these so called knowledgeable prognosticators can have their face rubbed in it....its really the only satisfaction to be had....these people are just like weather forecasters...where else can you continue to get paid well while frequently getting it wrong...

there should be a common thread to park all of these predictions for easy reference

The issue with these national outlets like The Athletic is that they do not closely cover one particular school so they only focus on the headlines such as a new head coach, transfers, and ncaa investigation. However, anybody who closely follows our program knows that a) Heupel is a far superior in-game coach compared to Pruitt. b) the good players that left the team are only perceived to be huge losses because of the hype behind them coming out of high school. However none of them really lived up to their potential while at UT. And c) this roster is not nearly as depleted as people think. There are going to be a few guys who make a name for themselves this season.

The fact that they have USCjr ahead of us when they are trotting out a first year head coach whose previous highest coaching level was as a special teams coordinator for UGA is plain laughable.

@bignewt I just finished The Alternator. As I stated before, this style of writing is not what I normally go for, but I have to say that I really enjoyed listening to this novel. Character development was on point, the story was dark but very entertaining and your prose is also really good. Kudos. I highly recommend to the rest of you morans.

Once I get through this book I am reading now, I may have to give it a try. Goodnight Moon is a page turner, let me tell you.
