Maybe it’s just me, but I’m meh on black. Those ‘09 black jerseys were the first real jersey surprise we’ve ever had. It was special because of the element of surprise. It was hype at the time, it didn’t really look good.

Now the smoky greys with the helmets meant something and matched well with the orange..and looked less Halloweeny. I’ll wait to reserve judgment, but the black and orange is the worst of the looks in my 40 years on earth.

I don't think it's the black and orange that's the problem. The pants, helmet, and shirt just don't work together. The white stripes on the pants should be black and you can't have a predominantly black and orange uniform combined with a predominantly white helmet.

If memory serves they only got the jerseys in and just wore the pants and helmet from their other uniforms. If it was fully designed to work together like the smoky grays are I think it the black and orange look could work. They could also do black jerseys and not have orange pants if the whole uniform was well designed.

No doubt, the smoky grays were better though.

went to a show back in 2004 at High Museum. Van Gogh, Renoir...and an entire floor of famous architects hand drawn renderings, in pencil.

Since I came back from Iraq, I have a horrible time smelling anything like garbage or throw up. If I had to clean a room full of throw up, I would never finish because I would just keep throwing up more and then have to clean that which would make me throw up again.
