Romans 9-11? I recently preached on chapter 10. Always like to hear others thoughts on that group of chapters.

9 is one of my favorite chapters in the Bible. Those chapters are a real test.

Agreed.

I’ve settled on Nehemiah and also on Hebrews 13 lately.

Nehemiah because he recognizes a God-given purpose and his prayers are powerful.

Hebrews 13 because I see - in most verses - an example of folks in my life who have helped me to be better in each of those ways. Glad God has placed them there.

More than I can type here. In short, ch.9 — God sovereignly hardens who He hardens and has mercy on whom He has mercy bc He is God
Ch10— God’s sovereign choice did not make Paul indifferent to the lost. He expressed great sorrow over the lost and our call to be the beautiful feet to share the Gospel. “How will they hear if no one preaches?” Ch11— Hope. Even the faith that we have is still given to us from God.
