Of course there is that possibility as well - but it was worth the shot to try to determine if he was. I figured it was 50-50

i am fine if he isn't. Just trying to flush him out one way or the other. :) Do you know him? Does he have legit insider info. ?

Don’t know the guy, but looks like he’s got a good rep on here.

I try to stay somewhere between the witchhunters and the blind followers. Sure he might be getting some info from someone, but that info is only as stable as the mind of an 18 year old kid. Still time to go before signing day.

Certain boosters made a huge run at Gruden - it is well documented now. Negotiations took place -- we were bidding agains $100 M. so there is that.

What would you rather have $50 or $100M? That is one of the reasons Gruden is where he is at now.

If you don't know the guy then how the hell can you say it isn't Jason Allen who wore number 18? This has nothing to do with someone who is 18 years old. FACEPALM

Seems like maybe the TBA operating costs came completely from the men’s side or something. Like lady vols we’re breaking even or turning a small profit but the men were saddled with the full light bill.

JAllen18 posted that he just turned 30 years old and Jason Allen is 35. It’s safe to assume they’re different people, so my rep isn’t really a factor here “Wally”.

And 18 year olds refers to the kids getting recruited, not the number. I’m only trying to point out that even if JAllen18 ends up being wrong, it’s not that he’s necessarily a liar. Just sometimes you get bad info, and even if it’s good, with high school kids things can change in the blink of an eye.

A/V is a money man..While I'm sure he believes that, I also believe recruits tell those guys what they want to hear. Me and A/V had a convo about that years ago, he was sure we were still in on a guy because well..ahem..the guy was still hittin up the till. I told him that I thought the recruit was just milking him because signing day was a couple of days away and they knew the till was going to run dry from all the teams they were teasing. He admitted it happens, he said it's all just part of the game...I turned out to be right about that player.

Girl I’ve been seeing said during the college football playoff games “well i hope Bama and UGA both lose since them winning won’t help UT in recruiting. Well, Bama playing defense well would be good for us, but you know what I’m saying”. Might be love lol

Lol, that’s a good one! Keep her!

I was giving my lady grief the whole time about us stealing Pruitt and their recruits. She’d get all worked up and I’d tell her to calm down and enjoy being in the Championship game. They’re a funny lot.
