"right now i have a top three schools with kansas, tennessee and florida," noted mann. Mann recently made official visits to both tennessee and florida, and the two sec programs made a big impression.
About his visit to tennessee, mann said, "the tennessee visit went nice. It was a great campus with great facilities. I liked it a lot. The weather was nice, and i just had a good time." a big selling point for tennessee is mann's relationship with assistant coach rob lanier. Mann and lanier have known each other for a while, and that has helped the volunteers during this process.
"coach laniers son and i played together when we were in the fourth or fifth grade, and we have been in the gym together a lot," explained mann of tennessee. "also he coached with one of my coaches who helps advise me."
"florida went well," explained mann of the visit. "i see it every day, but every time i see it, it gets better. The florida visit was nice and the coaches treated me well, so it was a good trip."
when it comes to kansas, mann said, "they have had great players in the past and a great coaching staff. I havent been on a visit so i dont know about the campus, but it was good to get that offer."
there has been some thought that mann could decide soon, and while nothing is set in stone, he isn't ruling out a decision at any point. "i am just going with the flow right now," explained mann. "i dont have a set date for a commitment, but if i feel confident about a certain school then i will let it be known."
