Benefit of playing with Russell. Tim Duncan was a lesser representation of him imo. Made his teammates better. Unique talent.

This is why GOAT discussions are futile when it comes to players in team sports.

I think Jordan was better than James (I'm probably a little biased :)), and point to Finals performances as one of my reasons.

However, I also think Peyton was better than Brady (again, I'm probably a little biased) IN SPITE of championship game performances.

Nobody is completely objective in their reasoning, so they use the stats to fit their bias/preference.

For the record i love all the random topics that get discussed in hear, but the mj vs lebron stuff has gone on too long. All the people with a dog in the fight need to meet at waffle house and settle it once and for all.

Also, since im now part of the problem... lebron has better physical talents than mj but lacks his mental fortitude. Mj>lebron

The basketball forum isn't the correct one either. LBJ plays in the NBA- that isn't true basketball.
