The charge sounds much worse than it likely was imo. Standing in the door way and closing the door in a dispute isn't something I consider to be all that significant as long as he was trying to contain and calm a situation into private.

Yea what that means we don't know.

If he struck her in a way to harm her he should never wear orange again.

However if he put his hands on her to close a Door to try to contain/calm a situation then it isn't nearly as bad as the charges sound. I have been in such a situation as this and did nothing wrong but Could have easily been charged.
