Take away Cox and add Wright, Gray, Watson, Pappoe, Haselwood, Eboigbe and we finish with a score of 286.88 (barring any rankings changes which will happen). That would have been good enough for 6th in the country last year. That is how you rebuild quickly. If we put together two of those in a row, 2019 and 2020, then we are competing in 2020 already. In 2021 we would have the talent to compete for a playoff spot.

We need to land these guys.

We did great first 2.5 quarters stopping the run vs SC. I was blacked out on bourbon soon after that.

So we stop the run for 2.5 quarters and that means we have a strong run defense? Guess that other quarter and a half doesn't matter.

You can win a lot without an elite QB, but hopefully in 2020 we'll add a guy like Bailey. I'm not sold on Maurer, hope that he's elite of course, but 2020 maybe we can land one of them big fish. I really wish we could flip Taulia, but sadly that doesn't seem at all possible.
