There's no massive conspiracy — good or bad — with the UGA guys visiting this weekend. This has nothing to do with Watson Sr., either.

Tennessee is capitalizing on multiple long-term relationships and there being no good games in the South this weekend.

The Vols lose nothing by hosting guys like Nolan Smith and Travon Walker — even if they are very long shots at flipping either prospect. It makes much more sense to do it now (on a game weekend) vs. investing that time in December. Those guys have said they're going to take visits and enjoy the process, so Tennessee did well to grab one of those weekends. At worse, you show them a good time and they go back and tell their 2020, 2021 teammates that Pruitt & Co., are well worth a look down the road.

The Vols are at least more in the conversation with MLB Trezman Marshall, who will be making his third trip to Tennessee since the spring, and DL Zion Logue.

(Not counting some big potential uncommitted visitors) You could make a strong case that Logue, despite being the lowest ranked commit on a top-heavy weekend, is the most important prospect slated to be on campus this weekend. He's an in-state kid who's outperformed his ranking. Logue has maintained steady dialogue with UT's staff, and a good OV could go a long ways in a potential flip for a prospect this staff really covets.

Anybody think Pruitt is a vindictive sob that still is mad over UGA and Quay Walker last year and he plans on dropping all kinds of flips on signing day?
I really don't think the man gives a ish about playing any games outside of football..I am really starting to like this guy. He is one of those cats that you would just love to play for. Imagine what Saban would be like if his players really loved and fought for him?

If he brings us back, which I am almost convinced he will...We better not let anybody take him. I hope he grows to love Tennessee, and want's his own statue in the concourse.

I am starting a IF plan now.

Nothing from 8pm to 11am - except water.

I am also consuming 1g of protein per lb of body weight - so 148g for me

I am also trying to restrict carbs to 50g a day.

My goal is to burn fat and continue to grow lean muscle.

Over the last 18 months I have completely reshaped my body. Lost 60lbs and put on 10lbs of good muscle.

The last bit is to shred that lower belly and love handle fat that is a stage 5 clinger.

High-level recruits being impressed by a Kentucky win still feels weird to me...but I'll take it.
I get that, but they know UK is a good solid team this year. They know Pruitt has had to improve this team exponentially to lay a whuppin on a good solid team like that. We beat Awbarn sure, but it felt kinda fluky because of the TOs..This UK win was a statement beatdown, and kids recognize it.

Man Butch let it go to his head didn’t he.
There were so many people on here who were just enamored with that picture. "Our coach is so cool!!" "Butch Stones baby" "What recruit wouldn't want to play for this guy?!" Ron Swanson shares Butch Jones dancing towards a national championship sign, gets 47 likes, etc.

That's how GT plays. Their coach said that's part of their game plan and the reason they go about 12 deep in their games. It's not a bad strategy when it works and it's tough to get a good flow when the game is stopped for free throws that often. What we have to do is become a better free throw shooting team. We missed 14 free throws last night and that will get you beat in really close games.
It is old school 90s ball, but if you are a good FT shooting team though, it makes it a really bad strategy...

Another thing...trying to injure players purposefully is garbage and should get that guy fired or suspended if true.

Dale Brown made a good living with his "karate chop" defense at LSU. Back in the day, one of our players tried to kick his a$$ after a game.:cool::cool:

That’s a crazy weight loss. I’ve done it for about 3 months and lost 10 pounds. Admittedly, I haven’t added any exercise and I haven’t really changed my diet. It’s affected when I eat - not what I eat. I should focus more on eating better.

It’s a pretty easy way of cutting a little weight without giving anything up. If I’m craving breakfast foods I’ll just eat them for lunch.
I haven't said anything before, but I've lost close to 50lbs since May doing Keto. I eat whatever I want on most weekends, and I eat more protein than most folks do on Keto, so I haven't lost any strength. It is weird though, I will plateau for several weeks, and then drop 5lbs in a few days.

I really don't think of it as a diet, It is just the way I live now.

Man................ All this action, visitors, momentum, and interest from all these top-tier kids... we are definitely not used to this the past 5-6 years... Even if we can scoop up half of this action, we will be taking a HUGE step for the next three years on the field, and just as important, we will be showing '20 and '21 kids we are for real and want to get to the next level with their help. They will see high ranked kids taking a chance and will follow.

On a separate note--- with all these kids coming this weekend and this being such a big and important game for us, how do you guys think the game will be viewed by the recruits? Is this an absolute must win to lock or secure a potential commitment, or do you think most already know who we are, what our coaching staff is about, and just want to see us either win or fight to the end, showing a high degree of play on the field? Will that be enough? I just don't want another FL weekend fiasco...

Who’s your number 3?

Assuming Pappoe and Wright are in, and you could pick at least one more big fish to join our class, who are you pulling for?

While we're on it, any of you guys have a protocol for mixing chicken and waffles into a muscle building diet?

This is up my alley. For muscle building, you should be consuming lots of lean protein. During my bulk phase, I take in a gram of protein per lb of body weight and focus on hypertrophic exercises that involve complex lifts such as squats, bench, should press, etc. 80-90% of you 1 Rep max for sets of usually 5-7. I normally do 5x5s 4 days a week.
