Biggest challenge is to find an OC that teaches the "pro-style" offense Pruitt wants. You have to be able to build your offense around your players. Bama changed dramatically from Hurts to Tau. If we bring in a "spread" OC, then JT is done and we have to get a JUCO transfer, an dual threat recruit and convince Jalen Hurts to come to TN. The trifecta.

Just for the record I'm not saying Weinke is better than Tee. I know Tee is a great recruiter. And his family doesn't want to be here. And I honestly question how much Tee wants to be here.

I recommend everyone take any and all info/speculation put out there during this search with a grain of salt but, for those who might be new here, here are a few posters who have proven to either pass along reliable info or actually have it:

@HankHill (like his opinions or not, he called his shot last offseason and was as reliable with info as anyone)
@LA Vol (Reliable, consistent info bringer)
@Ron Swanson (bringer of all things TOS)
@Atlanta VOL (I will bear hug this person, and maybe fight back a tear or two, if I ever meet them)
@matts42012 (oldie but a goodie)
@Freak (I mean...it's his site, so...)

People NOT to trust:

Anyone who just joined the site and claims to have inside info...they're all trolls. Every. Single. One.

Anyone who doesn't drink coffee. They're not to be trusted. Ever.
SIAP

Keep us updated please. Does she have a trigger? I used to suffer from severe ones as well and even carried an epi pen around with me with medication if one came on. Doctors traced down the cause and thankfully haven’t had one in a while.

It’s the worst pain imaginable. People who haven’t had them wont understand but used to put me out of commission for 24 hours a pop. Hopefully they can figure it out for you guys, I feel for her.

I have zero experience in medicine so most of the time i can only pray for yalls pain but finally this is something i dealt with when i grew up. I used to get migraines so bad that i would have to sit in a dark room and in silence because any sound was debilitating. I tried medicine, holistical and western. Trust me my mom was into weird magnets and drops and things that would sound weird to the most common person. I will tell you, i went to a crainiologist or a head and neck chiropractor guy. It sounded so weird to me. I couldn't think of something that sounded stupider (maybe that description). I walked into a room and sat down on on a table and for the next 45 mins this guy dug his fingers into my neck and base of my skull. I am not sure why...but it worked. I was pain free for a month and then i had a slight headache and thought oh **** it is back....but once i took a tylenol it was gone. I worried about hangovers for 2 or 3 years, when I was in my mid teens but nothing happened of any significance. It truly worked. I don't know why but it truly worked. I have since been to chiropractors and they are great for the back rubs and such but nothing special. I will just tell you from my experience, I went to a specialst chiropractor ( i think) and he fixed it. Good luck because I know for sure that migraines are the worst thing to deal with. I will pray for your wife.

Ok how much can we judge anyone's recruiting ability in one year? Especially with the product we saw on the field this year. Serious question. Not arguing.
Nobody is arguing, but if you follow VQ then Weinke is almost never mentioned. He isn’t out visiting guys on his own or making these great relationships like we see with Neids and others. Have the time he’s never mentioned. We could do better is all I’m saying

I don’t think there’s any chance he comes here. But if he would, I’d trade Weinke for him in a heart beat

Are there coordinator jobs lined up for him?
i don't think so.

not sure how well Tee fits on this staff, or where. you'd have to do something to the #'s on the defensive side of the ball to make Tee an on field coach on the offense.

cause i don't think Pruitt is going to get rid of Weinke, either way. so you look at guys on defense, and you have Kelly and Fair coaching in the secondary, and Sherrier and Rumph coaching LB's. the odd man out in that scenario is likely Fair to make room for Tee.

and i'm not sure how hot and heavy Pruitt is to get Tee on the staff.

sounds good in theory, but to make it happen, you'd have to give up something else somewhere.

does she have a trigger?

lol...yeah....me, the kids, work......she's a physical therapist, so she's inherently always beena gainst Chiropractors. but she, like many of you out there that have this issue, have seen/heard about the positives that have come from it, so she's willing to give it a try. probalby won't do anything about it until after the first of the year though.

her big thing is drinking enough water. she has to stay hydrated, and not get too much caffine...

her migranes most of the time are low grade, meaning, she can still function, she's just miserable doing it. she'll get the bad ones every now and then that basically take her out for a day, every now and hten.

her youngest sister gets them really bad. she'll get 'em that will last 3, 4, 5 days..................

i've had maybe 6 or 7 migranes in my entire life, and i know what they do to me. so i'm just thankful it's not ever been a regular thing.

This was it for me. I used to get them really bad post sporting events in HS and they figured out that the dehydration “triggered” them. Had to make a conscious effort to stay hydrated.

My sister had the same issue (not as severe) and they traced it back to the coloring they put in Gatorade. She stopped drinking things that had that ingredient in them and has been great ever since. A lot of times they can trace it back to something and can nearly wipe them out. Good luck to y’all and hope she finds some relief.

Also you’re in Charlotte correct? Looking like I’ll be moving there in a couple months or so and my wife is a PT also. Small world.

I've seen multiple people say that but I see his name mentioned all the time. Maybe not as much as some on staff but his name is definitely mentioned in recruiting stories regularly.
When it is it seems to be an afterthought. He always has somebody with him. He’s not Neids flying to WV or Cali to speak with prospects on his own. We never even hear about his position groups in practice. We don’t even know if he’s a good RB coach at all.

Coaching RBs is probably the easiest position coach out of all of them

a famous man said that a legend at your school makes fans and administration go through the emotional pendulum. The happiest day of your life is when you hire him and the worst day of your life is when you fire him. I would be very leery of hiring a guy who is an ace recruiter because if his on the field product slips then the other coaches may look at him as possibly a weak link and that doesn't end well.

Because he seems to be the one least talked about. I’d rather keep coach Johnson than coach Weinke. Of all the offensive staff, he’s the weak link.
Just Bc he’s not talked about a lot doesn’t mean he’s a weak link. Pruitt loves weinke. He coaches one of the scrimmage teams and was a big part in getting teams in the 7x7 league from Florida.

Not everyone can be a Neids. Should we fire the rest of the coaches for not being Neids like, too?
