I’m starting to wonder if Hugh flooding the media might backfire on him. If Pruitt is waiting to talk to other candidates and is in the middle of the search, it might rub him the wrong way to feel the pressure Hugh is applying. Doesn’t seem like Lindsey or Drinkwitz are doing what Freeze is doing.

I thought about this too, I think we overestimate how much of a rats ass Pruitt gives about that kind of pressure though

I can't believe that's true. These guys are pros and it would absolutely turn Pruitt away. Even his agent knows this.

Well, I would think most OCs would know if they had those aspirations and not be shy about admitting so in a job interview. But i’m sure there are plenty of coaches who just love one side of the ball. Friend just wants to coach OL.

Idk. Just a thought. I wonder if that is something Pruitt is considering

It's been said Friend is happy as a position coach and doesn't want to be considered for the OC position. I doubt he'll ever become a head coach if he doesn't want to be an OC.
