Lane could rise to the occasion but he was too inconsistent. Remember Auburn? Ole Miss? No show vs Va Tech? Sorry, but he's not a very good coach. He's a great OC and should stop trying to be a head coach.

OSU lost to Purdue and should have lost to Penn State and Maryland.
