Time to stop debating whether AV is legit. He is. We have more important **** to worry about today, boys.

It’s not even about if he’s legit or not,a lot of the people wasn’t around for the gruden ordeal to see what he did for the kids and veterans.AV will always have my respect 100% class act.He has some serious pull within the university.the things he made happen around that time was no
“Average Joe” like.i do not doubt that he has connections and is in the know,he’s legit.

I'm not denying that he's legit, because I certainly feel that he is. More importantly he seems like a good man. He did pretty much say he thought it was going to be Gruden though, as I outlined in my previous post. No debating that.

Thinking it was going to be Gruden in no way means he wasn't in the know.

And the point is who gives a $hit? Lots of people thought it was going to be Gruden. It doesn't make him suspect.

Meh he was back and forth. Originally said Currie wasn’t even considering Gruden. Then said he felt good (75%?) but then a weekish later said something happened behind the scenes and he didn’t feel good about it at all. Too bad we’ll likely never know what actually went on

Hyams is about to be on the wake up zone... I’ll keep you posted on his update regarding the coaching search. He still doesn’t believe it’s Gruden but I’m sure he knows who our top candidate is...
We will make our choice in the next 2 weeks. Come on brah

I remember Chris Low shooting down the Gruden rumors fairly early on. If he had floated “75% likelihood” Freaks servers would have melted.

Meh - Most telling thing about Hyams interview is he didn't shut it down and said they might get it done this week.

That would make 11 coaches...one too many.

Question.. I'm sure this has been discussed before but I don't remember the answer.. What all can an intern do? I'm assuming they can't 'on the field/position coach'.

Jimmy-
I don’t think we’re any further along with Freeze.
- I expect them to interview more candidates while in NY this week.
- I believe they will have an OC in place before Dec 19th. Could be 2 days but definitely before Dec 19.

Smh at Jimmy. Even worse are these local hosts who actually think Hyams knows something.

A guy I go to church with supposedly has contacts in Knoxville, in the know. In the past on the few things he has told me he has not been wrong...yet.

This morning he told me he knew for sure Freeze had been offered a contract that, (last he had heard) ,had not been accepted.

Hopefully he (Freeze) is just ironing out some details. I'm sure Sexton isn't going to let him sign immediately without his input..
And here we have the classic “Insider Template”, ladies and gentlemen!

I salute you, sir.

Bruin was asking about Anthony Lynn last night...he was the OC for Buffalo a couple of years ago before getting the Chargers job. He was a dynamic playcaller to say the least. He had Tyrod Taylor and LeSean McCoy in so many awesome formations it was a joy to watch. I remember mentioning on here back then how great he was calling an offense. Glad he is having success even if it is a more conventional offense with Rivers.

According to Chris Low of ESPN, an announcement on who will be the Vols’ next offensive coordinator could be coming in the next 24 hours. Low has been well-connected with UT’s offensive coordinator search, and he appeared on The Nation on WNML on Sunday afternoon to talk about the search. During his appearance, he shed some on Tennessee’s decision-making process in the coaching search.

“Right on through, I think Hugh Freeze has been right there at the top of the list,” Low said on The Nation. “I think Jeremy is trying to check all the boxes. I would expect by (Monday), certainly Tuesday at the latest that he’s gonna have an offensive coordinator on board.[\quote]
