I mean it’s pretty obvious Pruitt and Fulmer wanted him and he was set to be the guy. All the media, especially the VQ guys hinting at it and throwing his name around.

But there is some major pushback from someone in power.

There is no evidence that a booster is holding this up. Someone may have made a gross miscalculation in hopes of using Freeze as a pawn in hopes that we'd go Schiano on him. They did not count on the opposite reaction and now they're stalling in hopes that someone else will hire him.

Lol I’m on board with that. (BTW these are just my predictions but I don’t see any other answer but Freeze. We haven’t heard anything serious about anyone else)

Let me save you guys some time:

2:00-5:00pm - Tweet that says “Don’t give up yet. Some of the power players are being moved aside. You can thank your AD.”

5:00-8:00pm - Brent Hubbs “Hugh is definitely a candidate but he isn’t the only one. Pruitt use to (insert some pastime memory) with Drinkwitz or (insert a let down candidate) and feels comfortable with him.”

8:00-9:00pm - Brent Hubbs “I’m not saying it won’t happen but there’s a lot of names being thrown out. Enos is getting a lot of attention. (Random complementary statistics and quotes on Enos).”

9:00-11:00pm - Volnation convinces ourself that Enos is better than Freeze.

9:00am Tuesday - Breaking: Tennessee hires Drinkwitz from NC State

Later in our story: Enos stays put. Hurts heads to Kentucky or Mississippi State. We enjoy Christmas with our families because sports don't control us any more since we lose so often.
