I don’t get the grumbles for him. Would be a good fit here.

I want to see something more than an apprentice to Todd Monken, one year at ASU, and Jekyll/Hyde at Auburn.

People need to do their homework on Lindsey before this year. I would prefer Freeze, but Lindsey has the experience in the SEC and set PASSING records at Southern Miss. Now he has a QB in the NFL. Who cares if he lost to us this year?

There's less freakout over losing Freeze in general than there is over the idea of the hire being blocked by the bean counters/Haslams.

The former would suck, but it happens. The latter spells doom for Pruitt and the program's future.

That's kind of where I am. I don't think Lindsey would just run to Kansas if there was even a remote chance he could end up at UT. I think its probably already been wrapped up. Just my opinion which counts for nadda.

Why do Tennessee fans always have to hang in a bit longer? Even Kansas can get a HC and OC in just a few days. 8 days in and we are talking about having to reset our search. Totally Tennessee.
