I look at the top 5 teams and can't understand how some of the candidates aren't chomping at the bit to become an offensive coordinator and make sometimes double what they are currently making. Tony Elliot, Josh Gattis, Cale Gundy, James Cooley, all Co-Offensive Coordinators. Don't you want to get rid of the "Co" title??

It's just basic plays per game. Some of that is how much our defense stayed on the field, how unsuccessful we were at getting first downs, etc. But still a telling stat.

Imo that stat should be TOP/Plays

Number of plays is a dumb stat when looking at pace.

There are so many different reports out there from different sources there is literally no telling what really went down.

And everyone that has chipped in on the info dumps works probably tell you they were confident in the info they got.
I would imagine there's little truths to all of it, in varying degrees.

Here's what I think went down.

Hugh wanted the job.
Pruitt interviews hugh
Pruitt wanted to make sure he was his guy (Pruitt has leverage)
Pruitt interviews others over the next few days
Pruitt decides Hugh is his man
Fulmer gets blowback from high level people, bot, boosters and such.
UT requires Russian election interference level background check.
In the meantime other opportunities emerge for Hugh and Hugh says wait on me now (he has leverage).

Not that it matters, but in 2016/2017 OK ST averaged 550 yards per game against Pitt (x2), Colorado, and Va Tech. They never had less than 488.

Yea I wasn’t meaning B12 doesn’t have defense and acc does. More that it’s just a different style of play, gotta score a lot of points or you’ll lose. Not necessarily the case in the ACC

Sh*t hires=Sh*t results nothing new about this it’s BS! This university deserve W’s, just 4 years ago we was laughing at Texas because of how bad Charlie Strong had them,now they have rebuilt their program to competing against other good teams and here we are SLUMPED and being owned by vandy 3 YEARS IN A ROW! UNHEARD OF, this isn’t the tennessee football program I grew up watching.Vandy claiming this state as their own state was fighting words and someone was getting punched in the mouth.
