I know it’s a total pipe dream and it may not have worked. But last year during the coaching search... why not offer Dabo like 12 million a year. It’s almost doubling his salary. It would pay for itself in a year with all the revenue it would generate.

He won't leave Clemson. I don't even think an open Alabama job would make him leave Clemson. He is in one of the easiest conferences right now. FSU sucks, Miami sucks, Virginia Tech sucks, who do they have tough to play right now? Duke?

It is very smart of him. He gets the ball next half and is down by 15. Make corrections and come out and score on your first drive and you are right back in the game.
