Yea I’ll mostly agree with that, they love UK, Duke, UNC, just like Osu and Bama in football. Lotta people felt we were overrated and hadn’t earned #1, still do.

But if the ranking really wanted to keep us down, would we have stayed #1 for 4 weeks and got all but what 10 first place votes? Even after Duke beat Virginia and posters on here were saying they would stay#1/jump us. Not to mention they had beaten like 7 ranked teams before we lost to UK. The pollsters had plenty of reason to rank them above us

They don’t flip flop rankings in CBB unless #1 loses. All that talk was overreacting BVS suffering Vol fans. Lol

Prediction for top 10 assuming UM, Nevada win? I’ll go with
1 Zaga
2 Duke
3 UVA
4 UK
5 UNC
6 UM
7 Houston
8 UT
9 Nevada
10 LSU or Marquette

We did not play well, and it took everything a pretty good LSU team could do to beat us...at home...by two..

The great and powerful unbeatable UK steamroller that everybody here is scared to death of..lost..at home...right before they played us last weekend..to a worse team than LSU..

This is basketball...everybody needs to calm the eff down. We are blessed to have watched one of the best, if not the best, runs a Tennessee Volunteer team has ever had. It takes a really good team, playing good ball, to beat this team. Which is better than any UT team outside of Pearls best could say.

very true and Vols have lost three games, all to teams in top 15 and 2 were in OT. Have not lost when they have been the favorite

We had plenty of opportunities to win the game but seems we are finding more ways to lose them. Bowden I don't think even scored did he guys? Remember when the scoring was so balanced between the five and Bowden being in there with them along with Turner? Hasn't happened since the UK game. Just look out of sync now.

I was more shocked the run lasted as long as it did. Not because we aren't a really good team but because that's just the way basketball is.
It's why pro championships are best-of-seven. Sometimes better teams just lose.
