Can't do it, too much variety, it's more like a multiple sports athletic dept. than ranking 1 sport.

It's very tiring and not good for the sport. It's why to me, basketball is becoming a more entertaining sport to follow.

It’s true that playoff teams are getting a higher percentage of blue chip players than the BCS era. They were more evenly distributed in the past but now it’s more top heavy. If you’re on the outside looking in then you have to rely on superior talent evaluators and hope to break through. Let’s hope we have that.

As a Sonics fan without a current team, I tried become a Warriors fan, but it didn’t take. I certainly don’t dislike them, but I couldn’t bring myself to join a fan base at the top of the heap instead of beginning from scratch.

Think I posted this recently but I'm a loyal fan to a fault, been a Dodgers and Dolphins fan for nearly half a century (it ain't easy being a Dolphins fan that long). So in the NBA, when I was a kid in the 70s I was a huge Warriors fan (Barry was my dude) but then I pretty much bailed on the NBA completely in the mid 80s and just stuck with college ball. Here in the last few years I've been paying attention to NBA more and more, but now I can't just go saying I'm a Warriors fan because it's the most bandwagony thing ever. And I can't go to any other team because of my loyalty to the team of my youth. So I guess I'm just screwed.

Yeah, I hear ya. Typically I am a player fan in the NBA. Wade & Curry I fell in love with while they both were in college so I pulled for them. Then LeBron came along and tempered my love for Wade & the Heat. Then Durant went to GS and did the same thing there... basically I'll watch the NBA during the playoffs at this point.

That can be true for basically any decade of college football. It’s always changing and people who we thought were great coaches get exposed really quickly and new coaches come out of no where with success. You think anybody thought Clemson was about to become a dynasty when Dabo took over?
