I checked out r/CBB and tRant and amazingly the overwhelming majority of fans all over the nation from every conference are offering GG congratulations to the Vols on the win today. The number of trolls are surprisingly few. Never a lead change for the entire game. Almost an all-time record comeback by Iowa. Almost, but not quite. This is why they call this tournament March Madness. This was really a great game. You felt it. Whew! Survive and Advance! #Sweet16

The way Turner is playing defense I think he can lock him down

Edwards has led Purdue in scoring in 28 of their 33 games. He's had numerous 30+ pt games and a couple of 40+. Kid is very good. Not sure anyone can lock him down. We just have to hope he has one of those games where he's off. Like I said, it's happened all of 5 times this year, but it has happened. Problem is that shooters tend to have red hot days vs UT not off nights. I suspect he's more likely to hang 40 on us vs 10.

Everyone needs to find a way to enjoy this because I will be absolutely shocked if we even make it close against Purdue. They will embarrass us if we play like we did in the second half. I've said before, this team struggles to play consistently at a high level. We haven't been able to put more than two games together this season playing an entire game of great basketball, and now we've shown in two games we struggle to play one complete game.

The reality is that Tennessee is rarely as good as they were in the first half and rarely as bad as they were in the second. Conversely, Iowa probably isn’t as bad as they were in the first half. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

That said, I don’t care if Tennessee blows 25 point leads every game in this tournament as long as they lead by at least 1 at the end.

What's very telling is that I had completely forgot about the lady Vols playing yesterday. Then one of my friends, a Louisville fan, texted me and said "Holly is in trouble". I was with my sister, helping her move, and she had forgotten. She was once a huge lady vol fan, had season tickets. They can fire Holly or continue to lose the fan base. Once you lose them, they can be difficult to get back. You think the UT administration would have learned this by now.

I have been out for two years now. Don’t have time to come back. Been easy to move on.

One thing i cant stand about march madness is how there are ZERO replays of any games, ever. Not on youtube, tv, nowhere to ever be seen again. Didnt get to dvr the first half and now ill never get to see it. damn ncaa nazis.

Here's the deal. This team is starting to get hot at the right time. I believe we can win the next 4 no matter who we play. We blew a 25 point lead and still won. We would have laid down earlier this season. Purdue will be a solid win!

Getting hot <> 20 point loss, 7 point win over Colgate, OT vs sub-40 ranked Iowa...

If anything we need some real soul searching this week and decide if we want to be an elite defensive team for 40 minutes every game or go sit our butts at home. 20 minutes of great play won't fly vs Purdue, UVA, UNC etc

If Alexander gets in foul trouble, Haarms could have a day on us inside. It’s not a bad matchup for us, but it’s not exactly good. I’d put Turner on Edwards for on-ball defense.

Smart move. I expect more and more ~30 year old retirees. Go make your money and leave still intact, mentally and physically. He was also lucky enough to win plenty of hardware and be a part of the best modern dynasty in sports. Good time to hang it up and enjoy life.
