I’ve actually been hearing that Zack Kent has been unbelievable. He dealt with an injury this past year and the staff has been really impressed with him so far
Hearing the same, I think them being cautious with his injury was smart. They really wanted to wait until he was 100% before he played, and unfortunately that didn't happen during the season. We had Grant, Kyle, Fulky, Walker and even Admiral so it was smart of this staff to keep out Burns and Kent looking ahead to this season.
I'm not sure yet how they plan to use James, I expect Turner to run the point to begin the season with Bowden/James playing the 2. I figure Kent is probably starting at the 5 if he's healthy with Burns and Fulkerson battling for the 4 spot (as the roster sits now).
ORN I think ends up earning some playing time...Pember & Gaines seem likely RS candidates. Knowing Grant & Bone are both now gone I expect staff to land another big someone who can play a 4 or 5...feel like we have plenty of guys who can play 1-3.
Guards: Turner, James, Bowden, Jalen, Pons, & ORN (Gaines on the bench as a RS)
Forwards: Burns, Kent, Fulkerson (Pember on the bench as a RS)
That's 11 spots if my numbers are right. 2 spots, available with Walker transferring.
