Can’t believe people are constantly hating on this dude. First commit of the class and he’s out there working. He’s been a Vol since he was born.
Same people who see a local product we had committed as a PWO get snaked by Oklahoma and somehow attribute his long snapping as critical to the blowout. 😏

That Yorod thread on VQ is absolutely golden. Even better the thread someone made on the main board site. Amazing. Worth $9.99 and all their war papers put together.

Yea honestly if we go down to the swamp and play hard and it’s a good game. No one should be that upset with a loss. It’s probably 75/25 we lose/win that game.

Even though it will probably turn out poorly for us, just all this UF game talk has me at a 7 or 8 excitement level to get shiz started.

Everything is about optics. Losing will be bearable if we look like we’re on the same level.

We say that now, but the "I'd rather lose by 30 than on THAT PLAY" crowd will come crawling out of the slums in droves if we lose another nailbiter. It is lose/lose with this base. The only way to win....is to win :)

This guy probably still measures a starting pitchers success off of their record.

And how many strikeouts a pitcher had, ignoring how many innings he was allowed to pitch.

JG's only "crime" last year was not having as many pass attempts as most any QB in FBS. 14th in the SEC and 95th nationally...and probably half of those behind him play in unorthodox option offenses.

People complain about his 12 TDs...well guess what? He was hardly in striking distance, due to being paired with the WORST rushing offense in the league and one of the nation's worst (108th). Meanwhile JG is 44th in QBR. Hmmm 44th or 108th? Let's blame the 44th ranked component! Oh yeah, and that was 44th QBR while being one of the most pressured QBs in the nation...

People want to blame him for low production when we ran 60% of the time with absolute terrible production. He can't run the ball and block too. Fact is efficiency stats showed he did well when he was given the opportunity.

Glad ESPN uses its brain, or at least this writer. JG train a comin'!!

Who’s signing up for that today?

*assuming the other wins are 4ooc and candy.

Hell yeah alllll day. Our ceiling is barely any higher, but our floor could be much lower especially with any significant time out for JG...Trey/Solomon not playing, etc. I think many underestimate just how low our worst case scenario may be with our limited depth. Hopefully the last season we have to contemplate such things.

That said, please gimme a Ms St/Mizzou/UF victory for a sweeet 8-4 and top 10 class. Butch hype offseasons may have been illusory, but man the hype was fun. Give me the hype with a real ball coach this time and let's make real things happen 2020.

We will win more than seven games. Our OL will be better...DR was trash last year. He singlehandedly killed drives with penalties,at the worst times. It was like he was doing it on purpose. IMO, there is one other OL that needs to be on the bench. Hopefully Wright can start at Guard and Johnson can move out to tackle.

:oops:o_O:oops: DR purposely killed any chance of becoming draftworthy? lmao ok...also, he started any game he wanted. He was the best we had, according to this guy Pruitt...

Yeah he had too many penalties (seems this is all anyone focuses on) buy beyond that he was about the only even half-devent lineman we had, along with maybe JJ. How quickly some of y'all want to trash guys that gave us what they had for 4 years. Yeesh.
