Moving Trey to LG means the coaches feel pretty good about the FR. If Trey continues to do well once they switch treatments, and Kennedy is 100% coming off his injury, we could have the best OL we've had in years. With the offensive playmakers we have and Chaney as OC, the Vols could surprise some folks.
Its exciting to think about if things go our way. If OL and DL can be average or better this could be a 9 win team.

Watching this NCAA guy talking about the new rules on SEC media days and there are going to be so many more penalties this fall. They're trying to protect the players, which is great, but staffs are going to have to really focus on technique and how to not hit people while still playing football. Going to be interesting.

I want to believe this, but as talented as they are, two freshmen at tackle or even just one freshman at LT isn't ideal. I still think it'll be better, it has to be!

No reason to think UF is an auto-loss. They have the mental edge and that has caused us to beat ourselves time after time. If this team can get past that, it'll be a game. The Gators have issues, too. They just usually get the benefit of the doubt.

And no matter what they say to the media, it's a rivalry game. It's time we start holding up our end.

Not ideal... but Pruitt puts the best players on the field. If the returning guys have upped their game enough to beat out the FR, that's a big positive. Morris was with the 1s all spring. Wright will have to earn his spot in camp, but he's already improved his conditioning. Could be a 1A/1B scenario.

That sounds like it favors offense and that’s good news for us. We aren’t going to win many 14-13 games imo

I really hope Pruitt gets our guys past that ****

just had an OL retire here in Cinti due to blood clots in his leg after being in the league 8 years. started or played in 109 games out of 111.

praying for the best outcome in the Trey Smith story

The “lovable losers” line was gold, Jerry. Why it’s uttered when we start winning is it’s own punchline. 😏

I’m a Braves fan and the vast majority of my ilk have enough complaints/worries to occupy our time. Maybe it’s more about your team’s VN champion and the fun that can be had messing with him?
Ha. Maybe.
“VN Champion”.... dude is a machine...

If we go 6-6 with this staff it means our roster is still really bad IMO. We should have a coaching advantage in almost every game.

The roster is on par with South Carolina, Missouri, etc. but most of the top end talent is still very young. those teams have the benefit of SEC experience and experience in their schemes.
