Oh, if he’s not firmly on the hot seat, the problems in the AD still go much higher than the football coach.Still in shock, so this may be a dumb question. Have we had a worse loss in program history?
I've been skeptical of Pruitt, but my definition of skeptical was he'll never win the SEC or he's too green to learn on the job in the SEC or he'll be a perennial 8-4 type coach and have this program in a spot to hire a championship coach in 5 years. Never ever dreamed he couldn't have a team ready for GA State.
Still, he's a sophomore coach in the toughest conference. This could be a low point in a decent future career, but his seat rose in temperature, even if it's just a little.
How can a team not be ready to play week1? That's what really bothers me with UT, how can you come out flat. As fans, we were ready for today since last year. We brought more emotion than the team.
Burned the whole house down. How many TVs remain intact @Ron Swanson ?
It bothers me too that weren't ready to play. Head-scratcher. But the fans didn't have much emotion either. I mean those in the stands. Our job is to make as much noise as we can for as long as we can. That's all we can do, but we can do that. We didn't. I understand we were deflated early. But we can't expect the players to fight through it, yet quit ourselves.
This was a poor, pathetic performance by everyone involved. Coaches, players, fans. Oh yeah, the officials had a couple of poor plays too.
