Should be fun to watch. It's easy to beat expectations when you have none. Now the prospect of the #1 QB in the draft is on the line and he has to not screw that up.

If we want a 9-10 win season we gotta help out the team by packing the stadiums. Including away games. Time for the Big Orange takeover starting with Pittsburgh…. We need thousands of Vols in the stands for the coin flip games. Florida, Pittsburgh, Kentucky. Heck we need it packed in general for Bama as well they haven’t played a true road Neyland since 2018 and we were awful then. Point is we can make a difference and could flip some games. Don’t go and sit on your hands either… you go and you get loud

Kentucky’s schedule is a bit tougher than it usually is for SEC play… I don’t see them being 2nd in the East. They’ll be 3-5 or 4-4 in conference. 3rd or 4th IMO. Not impressed with Levis either. Just because he’s a big dude doesn’t mean he’ll be Aaron Rodgers or Josh Allen. 8 games last year he didn’t even throw for 200 yards. Good quarterback? Sure but definitely not what most are making him out to be

Cover 3 is a 247 podcast, and is actually a good listen. I'm not going to not listen to Cover 3 just because one of their guys has an opinion that I don't like.

new NCAA video game updates

development has ramped up entering the final calendar year of what is expected to be a nearly three-year development process

A launch date of July 2023 is circled on the calendar and the time-consuming process of acquiring photo, video and audio assets from 130-plus FBS schools to guide game designers is winding down

on-air talent from ESPN are in the process of recording commentary for the game

The biggest hurdle on the horizon, however, is the monstrous task of securing the name, image and likeness rights of hundreds of players as EA Sports leans into making the game as realistic as possible.

EA is also expected to update rosters via downloadable updates for the game from July 2023 through July 2024, though the frequency of updates is unclear.

EA was still attempting in July to secure assets from FBS schools to guide its stadium designs for the game

EA Sports began requesting photos of stadiums and uniforms, and audio of chants, band songs and cheers in early 2021

EA also requested schools to provide audio files, along with the timing of songs and cheers during games, in a spreadsheet

"Stadiums are our most complex, costly and time intensive assets to build, so we are starting with those first," EA Sports outlined

EA Sports College Football is built on the Madden engine but fans should expect tweaks to game play

The game design, atmosphere and unique traditions for each school is primarily what EA Sports will lean into for the game

The playbook will be much more robust and team specific

The team at EA Sports is taking great care in making sure the presentation is uniquely collegiate, which is why the team has spent so much time designing stadiums and implementing assets to differentiate game-day atmospheres from school to school

EA Sports has kept much of its game modes under wraps but the developer will continue "Dynasty" and "Road to Glory" modes

legends from college football's past could be included in future updates for an "Ultimate Team" mode

EA Sports made an effort to include unique helmet stickers for teams in the game and is building a library of throwback uniforms

Coaches have not yet been approached about utilizing their likenesses in the game
