It hurts my feels that AR came into Neyland and had just an amazing game stat wise.
With a L leaving town. He played well and deserves the praise. We pressured him and he made plays until we did on the fumble. Tip of the hat and move on with a big win for the program. That was a great battle today.

Florida literally had to play their best game in the last calendar year, pull out every aggressive playcall in the book (onside kicks, hail mary, a dozen 4th downs, going for it instead of kicking field goals, etc), and they won the turnover battle. Our defense wasn't great, but part of that bottom line is what we FORCED Florida to have to do to be in the position.

And we still won the game. I don't like how the script reads for the final quarter, but I like the final score. I like that Hendon Hooker is going to be shooting up the board as a Heisman favorite. I like the receivers that stepped up today and Jabari Small. I like that we are undefeated and we can forget about Florida for another year.

And just think. Joe Milton is gonna roll into the Swamp next year and win down there for the first time in 20 years.

On the way home from the game. That place was loud wild. The refs missed a ton of calls. Catching up here now. Can't wait to watch the TV replay
Honestly, I think the refs let a lot of calls go for both sides. There were certainly key situations where I wish they had made a call in our favor, but for the most part, they let both sides play.

Lot to unpack from that game.

I don't think our defense is aggressive enough.

Our secondary is our biggest weakness. Maybe it's just me, and I'd be interested in hearing from others who remember his first tenure here, but this is what I remember about Willie Martinez from his first go here.

Billy Napier cost his team a chance with that ill-advised first attempt at a two-point conversion.

Our last offensive drive, were we not in FG range? And if we were, why not kick the FG to go back up by 8?

Our offense is not a problem. Even with Cedric out, offense was fine. Defense is our weakness.

Refs let both sides play hard.
I think we didn’t kick a field goal to force UF to go the length of the field 2 times. If you get the kick blocked the could return it for a td. It was a safe call and would take so many things to go right for the Gators to win the game. Almost happened though.

...and without our #1 receiver (TIllman) and without Sampson.

Issue wasn’t going for it, it was play call.
Trust Hyatt there to get open

And Florida is what....2 and 12 over their last 14 SEC games or some such? Very glad we didn't contribute to that trend the wrong way (again).
