Yeah we have 3 kids with the oldest being 5 currently so it would be a big move. I’m from Chatt originally and am very familiar with the landscape. Probably with decent job prospects in either city. I think for Chatt we’d probably aim for Signal.

We do love Knoxville a lot though as well but don’t know nearly enough about the specific areas and regions. I’ve heard great things about Farragut schools and would probably lean there but would be willing to be persuaded
If you don't mind a 20 minute drive to Knoxville. . . BlackBerry Mtn/Townsend. BlackBerry is pretty high dollar though. Did a lot of the houses there over the past decade, most over $2-3mil. . . which would probably be like $200-300mil today, 😆 but Townsend area is nice and a straight shot into Knoxville. . . if you don't mind risking your life twice a day on the Alcoa Hwy drive.

Great news!

On that note, I have an update, as well...my mom is cancer free, too! She found out today..everything looks good, and her treatments were a success!

I know I haven't said anything about it, since asking for prayers at the beginning of all this; but, she had it pretty rough...it was a long, scary, terrible time. She was in the ER/hospital a total of seven times, six of those in 5 week span. Her doc, which is in Nashville, told her she spent more time in the hospital than any other patient he has ever had. Yet, with the love of a mighty and awesome Lord, she beat cancer's ass.

She is my hero, she is tough as nails, and she is truly blessed. From her, and all the rest of us, thank you so very very much brothers and sisters of the Nation. May the good Lord ever be so loving to you and yours, as he is to me and mine. God bless you all.

Take that woman to a vacation. Deserves it!

Great news.

This is what worries me. I know I'm in a minority but I hate all this realignment stuff. Oklahoma and Texas don't belong in the SEC. USC and UCLA don't belong in the Big 10. Rivalries that lasted for over a century are tossed aside to make a quick buck. The tradition and the history are a big part of what makes college football unique. There's already an NFL -- I don't see the benefit in creating a watered-down clone.
I have NEVER accepted Arkansas or South Carolina...you can imagine how I feel about what has come since.

We have played TAMU what twice in so many years..Ridiculous..Might as well be some 5 year OOC home and home. Face OK and Texas every so many years? This is dilution of even being a conference.
Heck lets get all 130 in the the SEC!
Freaking money ruins everything and just seeing the Olympics allowing Pros, I dont even care anymore.

I try not to get too excited for the season and then CJH says this on Greg McElroys podcast.

First, it just starts with his (Hooker's) complete command of our football team and ownership and leadership and true belief in his ability to lead and communicate and his energy inside the building is so different than it was this time a year ago and certainly when we first got here,” Heupel said. “He’s continued to grow in his confidence because of the work he’s put in. Offensively, just dramatically different — even from where we ended the season last year. He’s got great command of what we’re doing, gets us out of bad plays, gets us into really solid plays and has the ability to extend and make plays from protections to run schemes to what we’re doing down the field. He’s got complete ownership and command of what we’re doing. And you know — each chance you have to make that jump as a quarterback, he really, with his offseason habits, has made a huge jump. -Sat down south
