You gotta start zone matching though… you can just sit there and get picked apart. That’s defensive backs bad coaching… whenever I saw trevon flowers try to speed turn to catch up with the receiver on the outside only to not contest it at all… lost a lot of trust in Martinez…. Banks gotta get someone else if he wants to keep his job in the future.

You are 100% right. Our front 6 stack up with anyone in the SEC minus Georgia and Alabama. Dbs are bottom 5 in the league.

The one were we cruised to a win, like we did, and their hopes of winning were nothing but a mirage!!!

Yes they were close up to the last possession of H1. From there it really wasn't that close, especially with the Omari caused fumble! He and the offense put it away. Was really impressed how we put it on them in the 2nd half.

Are you sure? It sounds like our secondary, tight ends, and defensive game plan were non-existent. Not sure why people expect perfection in every. single. game.

Of course there are things to work on....there always are., but every play, quarter, etc. is not an indictment or microcosm of what is going to happen in the next game. Or for the rest of the season, for that matter.

I'm fine enjoying this win. Over a ranked team. Over an SEC East team. Over a rival. A team we've struggled to beat over the past two decades. This win made us 4-0, and it was different than the win that made us 3-0, which was different than the one that made us 2-0.

I'm very fine enjoying this win..

Getting a 15 yard penalty for complaining about a call that the refs had blown in your favor has to be the dumbest move ever. I'm not even sure Butch would have done that.

The only reason I could think of for going for 2 was he had money riding on Tennessee and wanted to make sure UT covered the 10.5 point spread. Of course, he couldn't even get that right.

Lost my voice, proud of the win but wished Heupel had kept being aggressive. Almost costed us. Defense has GOT to be better. Just plain and simple. I almost threw up when they recovered that onside kick with “classic Vols” thinking but praise the lord we closed it out. Section PP and the entire stadium brought the noise today.
