Lost my voice, proud of the win but wished Heupel had kept being aggressive. Almost costed us. Defense has GOT to be better. Just plain and simple. I almost threw up when they recovered that onside kick with “classic Vols” thinking but praise the lord we closed it out. Section PP and the entire stadium brought the noise today. Go Vols!!!View attachment 494142
Agreed on staying aggressive. Should have run the offense as we had the whole game. Step on their necks when the moment calls for it or else they may step on yours.

Butch and Pruitt both had some hype at one point too. 2020 Ranked #14 going into uga game, 2016 team starting 5-0 and being top 10

This team and coach just feels a lot different. They did it in their 3rd and 4th year, Huepel is doing this in his 2nd season and inherited a much worse program than either of them

Huepel can develop players and puts them in position to succeed. Can’t really say that about the other two coaches. If he can figure out this defense we’ll be competing for championships pretty soon

I almost feel a sense of relief that the days of being bad and incompetence are over. It’s been a hard 10-15 years

Both onside kicks weren’t executed great on our end. The first one Bru let bounce one more time then he should and had to make a good play on a short hop. The second one he let the kicking team undercut him for that ball. I’m saying Tillman is probably usually the guy in that position that has practiced making that play more and Bru was having to fill in today.

I need a report on how loud Neyland was. Seemed very loud on TV.
Crazy loud! There were times where it was so loud and we were yelling so much I was light headed haha. When the whole north end zone was giving the gators fans the gator chomp our claps were so loud you could it sounded like the whole stadium was clapping simultaneously.

Vols win. Offense was on fire. Defense leaves much to be desired.

Perhaps the most amazing thing to me is that the same garbage refs who couldn't call holding on Florida's offensive line apparently caught a flight to Corvallis, Oregon and are unable to call holding on USC's offensive line either. Kidding aside, there's such a legit ref issue throughout college football.

It's Great to be a Tennessee Vol!

I've had much more fun, by being positive this week and expecting a win, than I would've if I freaked out and expected a nut punch all week. All that wasted time cry-babying around about maybe losing and we won anyway.
BVS is real. I felt confident all week and then 30 minutes before the game my nerves flipped a switch and my BVS was flaring up. 😂

The best moment was when the Florida band began the gator chomp late in the 4th Q and all of the UT fans participated and the Florida section didn’t. I was in B next to the Florida section and had a good look at the trolled faces.

Already gave my report but now I need a report to know if the refs were as bad as it seemed at the game? Felt they missed at least 5 blatant holds on key 3rd and 4th downs, at least 2 horse collars, 1 personal foul when Miller hit Hooker out of bounds, and more. Did Small get in the end zone? It was in the north end zone where I sit and it looked like he did.
