I'm guessing you guys who have kids/family are who generally gets this stuff? I rarely ever watch TV outside of UT and maybe a couple games people in here are watching. A couple years ago I was getting hit for like $285/mo for cable/internet/phone. Can't believe I was paying that much every month for something I rarely ever used. Switched to internet only for $95 and have to cheapskate my way into watching the games for a while.
Wow. I'm paying $195 for the dish bundle with TDS phone/DSL. I still have use the old 2 TV DVR and have TV 2 split between the boys bedrooms. I hate giving up the DVR but I guess everything is on the webs now. It might be time to cut the cord

You get DVR with YTTV. How are you planning to stream? I use firesticks. I think you can have a max three streams going at the same time. You can also take the firestick on the road with you, i.e. camping, as long as you have an internet connection you've got TV. I've tried streaming using my phone as a Hotspot. Didn't work great so I bought a USBC - HDMI and stream through my phone and it works great.

The 3 Tetons are south but we stopped to take because this was a less busy spot. My favorite place on planet earth, so far.

One of my most memorable moments was in Jackson Hole. We went skiing, and on Sunday morning, there was a small worship service at the top of the mountain As the sun was rising………beautiful and spiritual

I bought a firestick but we've not used it. We've been using the dish for so long and that's what I'm used to. We've got the Disney bundle. I tried to watch GameDay on the ESPN App but it's tied to the dish account.

I need to upgrade our internet anyways to fiber. We've still got 5 Meg DSL! The kids hate it. "Dad I'm lagging" 😂

What do y’all recommend for streaming? I see a couple folks mentioned YouTube TV. I’m about to call and cancel Dish. I only kept them for sports.
I’ve had YouTube tv for awhile and I have no complaints. Little hint, can actually stream I think on up to 5 devices at a time so can share the cost with a family member or friend.

I use to have directv…. They lost me several years ago when they added DogTV and took away some of my favorite channels while raising the price…. I have been streaming ever since….. never been happier.

Canceled Sling this morning and switched to YouTubeTV.

Wife is out of town so my plan was to watch football literally all day today. So to say I wasn’t happy waking up to no ESPN or SEC network, is an understatement. Immediately canceled and switched. All day football is back on.
You like YTTV better

Just set YouTube tv to record all ncaa football and NFL etc. Its unlimited storage. It will hold the most recent recording of an event for 9 months. So for instance I have the office set to record. It records it on any channel it comes on. So if season 7 episode 12 or whatever comes on Comedy Central at 3am it records it and keeps it again for another 9 months. Essentially it never goes away. It keeps recording it and replacing it. It also auto records a live event until it ends. No asking it to record for 1 hour past end time. If a CBS kickoff starts at 3:30 but goes until 8 it will automatically record the whole thing.

Mine seemed like it went up every few months. Started out with a great 6 month deal, then boom!, increase. After a few years it had gone from like $69/mo bundle special to $285/mo.

Kinda irritating when I looked into it a bit. My brother had basically the same setup and was paying $159/mo or so. Felt scammed, 😆.

Mine had plateaud out at $165 for dish/phone/internet. I kept calling in and reupping my contact for 2 years and getting the best deal they had going for new customers. It finally jumped to $195 earlier this year (I think it was this year) and I've been thinking about canceling ever since.

Juniors won with Memphis. Freshmen had Nashville and it was pretty good but not gonna post unless requested.

Dickson always have incredible floats. In fact some of the floats in the 90s and early 00s were replicated by float builders for the Rose Bowl parade.

I’d like to see Nashville. Us folks from Lawrence county always did floats for homecoming as well
