So targeting is to protect the guy with the ball but the tackler gets hurt and they call a penalty on him for potentially hurting someone else. I literally can’t wrap my head around it.

Its awful, you can teach technique all you want, but sometimes things just happen on a football field. The game is too fast for perfect technique every play

I spent my time praying during the revival. It was so hard after the FL win lol. Something I didn’t share because I felt guilty burdening others so much about my husband (and someone said they couldn’t argue with me because I had so much going on ), but the week my husband got saved, my DIL sent my son back to us because he had got back on drugs! But… he went to Recovery Soldiers, and he got saved two weeks later! He was at the revival and did amazing with his testimony. His two best friends are a couple you may know…Justin and Josh. So many prayers answered!

He had the head up and lowered it as a weapon. It was stupid and unproductive. I hope the kid is ok but the penalty is there to also protect the tackler and discourage these moments. The targeting call is the only call to make. Feels like doubling down but if that isn't leading with the crown, nothing is.
