I love Heupel, and no offense to him, but if A&M pulls the trigger on that buyout, they’ve got a much bigger fish on the line than him.

There’s really only 1 big fish out there and that’s urban. Nobody else is leaving that’s a big fish they would warrant paying that buyout - Kirby, Saban, dabo. That’s really the entire list. Next level would be Riley and he just got a billion dollars.

Go ahead and throw the top 10 in there too (relatively speaking)

The top 3-5 runming away from everyone else isn't happening this year. Clemson could well have 2 losses. Bama 1. UGA 1.

Really happy to see SOME level of parity return. Great to see.
All of that is true..except everyone keeps leaving out OSU for some reason. I think after they stomp the livin 💩 out of PedoSt they will take #1 and keep it. I don't think anybody is going to beat them this year.

Lsu passed for 85 total yards vs Auburn on 26 attempts. 6 yards the second half…. Can the Vols secondary shut them down? Or will we see another game of the life like Richardson had. Will be key. Their defense is pretty stout probably our biggest challenge yet on that side. I’m excited to see how the Vols stack up

Here is what set it off….. OSU faked a punt up by 39.

Can’t tell from that replay but didn’t look like it was a called fake. Punter has to sidestep rush and then saw nothing but green. But even if it was a fake, what better time to get your team a game rep. If you don’t want them doing it, don’t get your azz down by 39

When you continue and continue to alienate every other conference for the biggest money makers...this is the eventual outcome. Have said it ever since OU/TX made the move. This is really bad for half of the country and its fans. Just sad.

This is only going to get worse as the 2 commissioners with little man syndrome go on to try and wreck the national game all for themselves and MOAR MONEY.
What the heck does any of that have to do with USCs absolutely pathetic trash fanbase? It is their fault for not caring enough.

Fwiw don't have fumble stats. Only remember HH has 1 fumble. Not sure about others.

The odds don't seem far off...BY and HH above Bennett.

BY 17 TDs 3 INTs 8.9 Y/touch
HH 11 TDs 0 INTs. 9.2 Y/touch
Bennett 9 TDs 1 INTs 8.5 Y/touch

Do y’all think Heupel’s offense would work in the NFL?
Personally I dont think so. NFL rosters dont have the depth to run an offense at the speed he wants.
Plus I think it would have similar issues as to Chip Kelly's when he tried the NFL as to the run game being easy to predict what side its going with how the back lines up.

The sport's slow devaluation of their conference and games because of money...now maybe being added to the B1G will boost that for a few of them. But BECAUSE of that, for their conference foes...it will only get worse.

USC and UCLA have historically both been top 25 in attendance. Ofc with USC specifically, the Helton years sure hurt. Just like Pruitt's years being down.

But the long-term moves are an issue for many programs. Things are too highly concentrated. No pro league would let so much nonsense happen because they would want a healthy league across the board. It's sad CFB is being ran by basically 2 men. Many many programs be damned 😑

And next comes the axing of FCS and maybe even G5 programs. Hundred+ programs will die off because CFB is trying to suddenly schedule like it's a pro league and is only focused on $$$. Adios the Austin Peays, UTCs, and many others.

Can see the ESPN takes now if Hooker becomes the favorite. "Will Anderson is the best player in CFB, we really need to stop making this a QB/RB award".

That was the take last year by many when HH didn’t sniff the list. I think that dude just happens to be really good at football

I don’t think his offense will translate well to the pro game. Pro coaches are smart enough to run this offense if they felt it would give them a better chance to win.
Obviously you forget some of the coaching moves the NFL has made, whether Heupel's offense would work or not.

Then I guess you missed the part at the start of the 2nd half when the TV crew had the doctor who is part of the announcement crew talk about it. He said if there was any resemblance of a concussion in the testing by the independent doctor after the stumble then it wouldn’t matter if he passed or not, he wouldn’t be playing. That means he passed every test. He then said that the stumble 100% could have been caused by back spasms.

All I’m saying is unless you’re a doctor that was in the room, saying that “anyone with a brain knew it was a concussion”, when there was an independent doctor in the room that knows more on the subject then you ever could is just a bit extreme.

Never ever have I seen a patient stumble like that with back spasms. I call bull sheet on that. 😐
