Used ones are more affordable than a Class C. That was the reason I was thinking about going bigger

Points/Drive

A lot has been made about our speed of execution and the time of possession (or lack thereof) resulting from it. Ultimately, it’s what you do with the possessions you have to put points on the board that count. UT is elite in that respect (4.04 pts/drive).

Here’s a comparison of relevant teams in offensive points scored per drive.

And here’s how the same teams fare on the defensive side. UT is about average at 1.69 points allowed per drive amongst teams in this list.

Tennessee attack vs LSU defense

• We are highly efficient with every chance we get and just about in line with the best in country at 4.04 points per drive
• LSU D is also amongst the best we will face at 1.35 allowed / drive, closer to the top 4 than Pitt (2.06), and twice more efficient than Florida (2.6)
• UT’s O efficiency dropped to 2.43 vs Pitt but went to normal vs Florida (4.22)
• LSU’s D dropped FSU, MSU and Auburn's O scoring efficiency by about 1 pt/drive

Prediction: UT had a great week of practice (unlike Pitt week), are coming off a bye and LSU lowering O’s by 1 point/drive, I think we go 3.0 pts/drive this game.

LSU offense vs UT defense

• LSU points/drive (3.14) look a lot like Pitt and Florida
• UT points allowed/drive (1.69) is marginally better than anyone LSU have played
• LSU offense played down to FSU and MSU pts allowed per drive, and laid an egg vs Auburn
• UT D dropped Pitt O to 1.8 pts/drive and allowed Florida to play up to their normal O scoring efficiency (3.3)

Prediction: We slow LSU O down to 2.5 pts/drive

Both teams play about 12 possessions per game +/- 1. If they get 12 (2.5 pt/drive) and we get 11 (3 pt/drive), final final prediction:

Vols 33 - LSU 30

Meh...it was inevitable considering the political situation in Europe throughout the 1800s. The Germans finally uniting as a real nation and stomping France in the Franco-Prussian war, along with Russia becoming a true major power and deciding they should be the defender of all Slavs + plus the 500 year long powder keg political situation of the Balkans pretty much guaranteed a continental war at some point.

I don’t mean in the sense of a causal chain. I mean in terms of moral justification.

I know resources are not considered by many to be moral reasons, but the fear created by lack of needed resources, and declared enemy control of needed resources is a very real thing.

I once had zero real understanding of those problems in Europe. I'm not saying it should have happened, I wish cooler heads had desired forgiveness, compromise and cooperation for the good of the world as a whole, but now that I have a much better understanding of the destructive forces that had been slowly building to a roiling boil in Europe..and well really the whole world....I have come to think that WW1 and WW2 were almost unavoidable.

Just having a place to put an RV can be a pain. I kept it at a storage unit place for like $65/mo. Wanted to keep it at the house, but didn't really have a good spot.

Had a friend ask why I don’t seem nervous about the game, I don’t know. It’s just different this year. I know we have a legit coaching staff and QB that will at the very least make enough plays to give us a chance in the end most likely. I’m not longer nervous about the “impending meltdown” or having to say “we can win if we do this that this that”. This team is fun to watch, yes sometimes not so much on defense. But still. It’s not that I’m delusional and think there’s no way we lose. This is LSU at their place, period. It ain’t going to be easy to win. (Even if we win by multiple scores like I think we will, it’ll be hard earned. ) But we have a team that likes that, they embrace the challenge.
