You
Tell me you don't understand football without saying you don't understand football.

We gave up 7 points in the first half. In the second half, we were playing our 3rd and 4th string guys. FFS, we were sending non-scholarship players out there, clearing the bench. Stop acting stupid and employ your common sense.
You’re just assuming there’s any common sense involved.

I look forward to teams doing that. As soon as they do, Bru produces just like he did against LSU and Florida (7/140 and 5/102/1). Defense has to pick their poison, and there is no good option.
Yeah...I just thought after those two games that he was going to be a regular target, but maybe those two games are why Hyatt is going off in the slot since then...🤷‍♂️

It was just a thought.

Remember when it was 7-7 today? I’m sure the game thread was 🔥.

My daughter went fishing in the Clinch this morning. She caught this fish. Not sure what it is. I think it's a perch but they're not all that common. I would tag soilvol but I think he's got me on ignore.

Perch. My son caught one at Melton Hill about a month ago

Ohio State is the team @Ulysees E. McGill speaks of but will not name
I hate them...almost as much as Bama, UGA, Florida and UK. I hate Clemson too. They are garbage and I hope to everything good in the world that the committee can see it. They really are paper tigers.

I’m embarrassed for them or did we start something 🤔.
No...they do it every game...they call it "Meeting at the Paw" or something stupid like that.

The Paw is the big Clemson paw they have painted in the middle if the field.

I wonder why no one gripes about how dangerous it is for them to do that?

fished the clinch around Clinchport. Caught Warmouth. Man alive, so much fun.

You all are so offended by the most minuscule things.

What is our overall defensive rank nationwide?
#104/131

That’s bad, or at least, in my stupid, uneducated, foolish, no brain cell mind. I’ll try to educate myself better next time.
#13 in Red Zone Defense
#38 in 3rd Down Conversion Def.
#T-21 in Fumble Recoveries
#10 in Rushing D
#35 in TFL
#T-35 in Sacks
#64 in Defensive Passing Efficiency

#129 in Passing Yards Allowed
#104 in Yards Per Game

It takes 2 brain cells to know that, by nature of our games, teams have to pass to keep up. Also, by nature of our games, our defense defends more plays than 95% of the defenses in the country. So the total yards allowed is higher, despite yards per play and passing efficiency being middle-of-the-pack. Of course, it doesn't help (nor is it difficult to realize - if you have 2 brain cells) that our weakest position group(s) is the defensive backfield, both in talent and depth. And lest I mention the injuries in that group?

Now if you knew anything about our defensive scheme you'd know this is "bend but don't break", shut down the run, keep everything underneath, force negative plays and turnovers, and tighten up in the red zone philosophy. And by the current metrics and our record I'd say the scheme is working well.

Our defense isn't bad. It's working the way its designed to work with the weaknesses. The DB room is struggling, and that's being effectively addressed in recruiting.

So try to educate yourself better next time. You almost had it.

They are not storming the field….. they are invited down to sing the.schools alma mater at the paw…. Tennessee has a similar tradition although it involves the players coming to the band and singing it with the fans.

Clemson stormed the field after beating syracuse.
They also ride a bus from their stadium locker room, around the same stadium, to the top of the hill they run down. They've got some goofy traditions.

Edit: I just saw the gif (4 posts up or 1 post down) of them "checking another dude's oil". I forgot about that one. 😳

Too much simple factual evidence in that post. Freak might need to remove the post.
