I gotta be honest, I don’t think I saw this, bump it to my inbox and I’ll reach out. Sorry about that! My inbox is a nightmare.

I prefer the layout and dashboard more than Amazon’s. I like the remote more too. Very user friendly. It was easier to teach my parents the Roku than the Firestick. Just a matter of preference.
I had the roku first and I will say that the remote control app for roku is better than the firestick app…. You just have to stick to roku’s assigned apps where as firestick you can download random apps from the internet.

I have several firesticks. The newer firestick remotes have buttons for Netflix, Hulu, etc. It also will power on you TV and adjust volume which basically eliminates the TV remote.

My only complaint, not really firestick related, I can't find a way to stream reelz. YouTube TV doesn't have it and it doesn't look like you can pay for just reelz.

It might just be personal but I've always thought the mustard thing was corny as sh*t...Idk to each their own I guess...but is this really the best shtick we can come up with??
Corny or not, our role as the "Villain" is something we've embraced.

Whether it's other fanbases thinking we're the villain because the media blows our stuff out of proportion, but ignores it when other sports/fanbases do the same thing, or whether it's us literally BEING the villian (cough, baseball, cough), it's a role we've embraced.

If our enemy wants to identify us with Mustard, then we'll do it ourselves. We'll embrace it, make a joke out of it, then it's not funny anymore when they use it against us.

Same goes for golf balls, fur coats, daddy hats, and anything else we've forgotten about.

Also, it's f***ing hilarious that someone threw mustard onto a football field.

My background is far from tech. What makes it trash? We’ve used it to stream tv for years. Before that we’ve used many traditional cable companies.

It’s not trash. I have had both Roku and FireStick and can definitely say that I think FireStick is better though. FireStick user design/experience is just much more intuitive than Roku in my opinion. Both get the job done though.

How old is your tv? I get that Roku and Firesticks are necessary for older tvs. I have an 85" samsung I got in January and the smart TV apps hum beautifully so I just roll with them. I even got PLEX on it.

I have a google chromecast on my living room tv and its better than firestick or roku IMO.

I have an 85” Samsung too, only a year and a half or so old.. my TV apps do run a tiny bit slower. I wouldn’t say it’s bad by any means though. I didn’t even realize it was a bit slower until I hooked up the FireStick we had and realized that those apps loaded a bit quicker.

The only real negative I’ve had with the built in Smart apps on the Samsung TV is for whatever reason it loses internet connection every once in a while. This is probably a fairly specific to me problem I realize though.
