I bet whoever called that dumb play on 3rd and 1 while ago is the same one who called these last 3 dumb plays to settle for a FG. Id rather need a 3 instead of a TD to end the game

Dude...forget it...23 ain't happening. I don't understand these kids either, I would take one look at the near miraculous development going on here, plus the amazing atmosphere, and the fact that this staff is competing for a championship with this roster in year 2 and want in...but...this is obviously what 15 years of dragging bottom does for you.

It is going to take more than 7 games to fix it, and our billionaires are not going to get us players. Even thousands of guys like me giving a few dollars can't compete with the kind of money idiots like Ruiz and the A&M oil barons can offer.

It is depressing.

Try looking at it from a different point of view my friend.
What these fridge folk and oil people are doing is calling the her. They are getting rid of the money, grabbers and the mercenaries. That will leave the high-quality players that our coaches are looking for anyway For us. We showed the world what we can do with players against the mercenary’s of Alabama. Will do the same thing with Georgia and whoever else gets in our way.
I am totally fine with Texas, Texas A&M, and Miami getting those tight players. Bama and Ohio State can have them too. Because when they going truly gets rough, when they are not picking on teams with significantly less talent, then they actually get shown for what they are. look at our game as an example. They fought hard but they came up short. That’s going to be the way it is for all these teams from here on out. TENNESSEE doesn’t play around with the buy a player game anymore.

But first, let’s whip a little bluegrass ass tonight. Then we can worry about the next opponent.

15-0 🤠

If you aren’t doing everything to slide the odds in your favor, no matter how small the move, you aren’t competing

I’m all for analytics but coaches have gone dumb for minimal probabilities. Watched Mike McDaniel last Sunday night go for it on 4th and 3 up 6 at the 20 something yard line instead of going for points. The game was 16-10 at the time and in the middle of the 4th Q. Why did he do it? Because the percentage of chance to win went up LESS than 1 percentage point… but hey it went up, so let’s trust the analytics. Some sense needs to be used in combination with analytics in my opinion. Take the points, go up 9, and then he wouldn’t have been sweating the final minute as Pitt was driving to possibly take the lead.
