I've seen a lot of Burrell hate this off season(myself included). So, I'm expecting a return TD on a Burrell INT on Ball State's 1st drive

I'm interested to watch Burrell. Feels like a lot of competition has been added to that room and the coaches still sound confident in him. I imagine he will either take a big step forward or somebody is gonna force him to the bench soon.

In the past most of us have felt the excitement over offensive weapons on the roster but have consistenly been disappointed. Even since Fulmer highly ranked players on that side of the ball have garnered plenty of hype but for some reason have almost always fallen short except for a few exceptions. Call it lack of opportunities or whatever else. Not so under Heupel. Those days are over. Playmakers will get plenty of chances to shine in this offense. It's a new day and era in Big Country and man does it feel good.

Last yr we went into the season with unknowns everywhere. A couple transfer QBs, a Miss St transfer WR who had 19 catches the previous yr. Tillman had like 8 career catches and Velus had like 22 catches his first yr here and then we had a a sophomore RB and true freshman backup after Tiyon quit. Not that he played many games anyways. Also had no idea if we would get a thing from the TE spot. Its truly amazing what Heup and staff did. Record breaking offense with what was a bunch of spare parts at the time.

Nebraska should be pretty solid this year. They upgraded at QB and bring back a lot of guys. They lost 9 games last year by less than 9 points - 6 being ranked.
