The "horrid passing defense" for us is now up to:

#40 in opposing QBR (out of 131 teams - 70th percentile)

#51 in YPA allowed (60th percentile)


It may be just good enough to not hinder our ultimate goals.

You've got #6 Alabama playing #15 LSU in Baton Rouge for possibly the SEC West title and chance to appear in the SEC Championship game and it DOESN'T EVEN MOVE THE NEEDLE because of what is looming in Athens.

The SEC East is the top dog again.

Randall Cobb was a better college QB that Will Levis and the only UK QB to ever have a good NFL career...

And he ain't even an NFL QB.

What Turnage, Slaughter, and Walker showed last night, and their ability to read the routes, jump coverages, shed blocks, etc was awesome. They probably had the advantage given that almost all of UK's WRs are inexperienced freshmen who made a lot of route and blocking mistakes, but that's got to build confidence within that unit.
