I think the Vols are a nightmare matchup for Georgia.

Our O line will give Hooker time and our WR and scheme will win!

They will try play man and Hooker will call/adjust at the line. I imagine our offense will be very balanced based on what they try do.

Our defense will be tested and stretched.

Their TE will win against our LBs and DBs.

We can stop their run. And we can limit their WR.

If they can keep up with us by over leveraging their TE and leaning on Bennetts arms and legs then good form then.

But they won’t. They are the team that needs to play a perfect game. They won’t.

We will win!

I only have a few on ignore but I just can’t handle the negativity he’s trying to spread during such a happy time for Vol fans..Don’t have time for it..

We have gotten rid of most of those, but there are still a few waiting patiently for anything to bring it in.

I know some people feel like every time we clear a hurdle, there is somewhat of a discounting of it by looking towards a future opponent and their strengths. I haven’t been one of those people, but I think it is very legitimate to say that GA will be the most complete team we’ve faced. And I think most would agree that the gumps would be the second most complete.

So, how do AL and GA compare? The categories I think I can make an educated guess at are these:

QB - AL is better
RB - AL is better
WR/TE - GA is better
DB - GA is better

So what does everyone think about the other positions? Which one is better at OL, DL, LB?

I certainly don’t think their defense can shut us down, but maybe they can hold us to less than AL. And how does our defense do against their offense?

I hope we’re hitting on all cylinders this week.

I think one big difference from what I have seen of them, which admittedly is only three games in each case...UGA has a far better OL than Bama.

I'm not saying Bamas is bad, just that UGAs has been dominating people in the games I watched.

Their schedule is crap minus the first game against Oregon who isn’t a world beater and doesn’t play a hard schedule.

I think our stats are more impressive bc of who we have played

Do we win, idk but I think we have a damn good shot and are way more battle tested

An extremely wealthy, ridiculed, and fired throwaway. Who could also have his pick of many good college openings. Heupel could make the jump to the NFL, fail horribly, and still come back to college with a plethora of good opportunities.

College coaches are extremely wealthy too.

I do think if he ever makes the jump it won't be any time soon. He isn't gonna take another college job. He will definitely be getting a substantial raise here at some point. I think he's in Knoxville for at least 3 or 4 more seasons.

He has Nico coming in, more weapons, '24 class shaping up to be elite.

He's way ahead of schedule but he still has a lot to look forward to and see through here
