Uhmm..they were built up all offseason by the media as legitimate contenders for the east title, while Levis was relentlessly hyped up as one of the top QBs in all of CFB, and the first QB off of the board on draft day.Funny thing is that's what the UK board was saying.
Apparently they were all expecting some sort of magical season?!?
That comes as news to anyone outside of Kentucky. I was shocked to hear they honestly expected such a thing
Reading their game chat thread on Wildcat Lair was unbelievably satisfying. I encourage everyone to if they haven't already. Unfathomable amounts of salt.Uhmm..they were built up all offseason by the media as legitimate contenders for the east title, while Levis was relentlessly hyped up as one of the top QBs in all of CFB, and the first QB off of the board on draft day.
This year has absolutely devastated them, the annihilation we just administered to them has totally destroyed their belief in themselves...hahaha (evil laughs maniacally)
It is soooo awesome!
I wonder if Venables feels like it was worth it? He ain't gonna last long...a bunch of Sooners are already wanting to can him.If they have a modicum of ambition, money won’t prevent it. It held off Dave Aranda and Brent Venables the longest.
I see this every day with various businesses. It's astonishing.I wonder if Venables feels like it was worth it? He ain't gonna last long...a bunch of Sooners are already wanting to can him.
With the money and longterm stability that really good coordinators are provided now, it seems like more guys would stick. The Peter principle is a very real thing.
