I was elated that Tennessee beat both Bama and UK. Tennessee staff totally outcoached Saban and the Bama staff. Never seen Saban outcoached, especially by that much. Kentucky never had a shot. Btw I was interviewed for that article a long time ago. So long I’m not exactly sure when it was. At the time Kentucky was the hot/cool school on the trail. That is always a fluid situation in recruiting, they are really bad currently.
Barion is going to be first team Frosh All American. He has made SEC Frosh of the week twice. He made the correct decision for him and his family.
Not sure why people are so up in Arms about NPA kids at UK. There are like 3 or 4. There are more NPA kids at bigger programs like Georgia and Michigan. Other programs that have more NPA kids are UT, Ole Miss and Stanford for example.
Whether people want to hear it or not I have been correct about most things including Dooley, Butch, etc. CJH is the man and a coaching Stud! Enjoy the ride fellas

Does Heupel have NFL aspirations?
He's never mentioned any to me. I haven't asked. I think he likes developing guys. That's not something you do in the NFL. I will say he has spoken about how the recruiting calendar needs to be fixed. College jobs are hard. Takes up all your time. Week of the Martin game (a game you can roll the ball out there and win). There were some assistants who saw there kids on Sunday morning after the Alabama win and didn't see them again till Wednesday night and then headed out recruiting Thursday night.
